Debating the worth of victory, author D.R. Bently's new book, "War Of Gluttons" (published by AuthorHouse), is a story examining the results of personal and political corruption.

Within the story, main character Norman Parish - a psychopathic terrorist - uses his wealth to control and manipulate the government of the fictional country Danatobia, eventually drawing the country into a war of profit for his company, Prisms Industries.

A tenacious news reporter named Alexandra Lohman attempts to leak Parish's immoral motivations to the masses, but is soon apprehended by Danatobia's parliament and targeted for assassination.

In this gripping tale, Bently delves deeply into themes of war, fraud and bravery.

"When I think of the destruction of persons and property, the only sensible explanation I concoct is there must be lucrative benefits involved in order to attract sane people to wars," Bently says. "Peace saves lives and lives are irreplaceable; therefore, only the people who have no one and nothing to lose are willing to choose war over peace."
