Dopey Bastid is the sequel to "8" Center Field in New York, 1951- 1957, the historical fiction account of Willie Mays, Mickey Mantle and Duke Snider, as told by three thirteen year old friends in 1957. The 'best buds' discuss their baseball idols as they complete a book report in their 8th grade class.
