The Telly Awards has announced that DADspirations has been named a winner in the 34th Annual Telly Awards for its DAD-TO-BE BOOK TRAILER. Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions, and web commercials, videos and films.
The Telly Awards annually showcases the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world. The Telly Awards is a widely known and highly respected national and international competition and receives over 12,000 entries annually from all 50 states and many foreign countries.
DADspirations first 2013 Telly Award winning book trailer, "DADspirations: The 1st 100 Days of Fatherhood. Tips for Parenting Every New Dad and Dad-to-Be Should Know by Pete Densmore", highlights why the 1st 100 days of fatherhood are critical for a dad-to-be or a new dad and showcases 35 ideas, illustrated with photographs, that Dad can creatively do for his wife, baby and himself.
The book trailer was written, directed and produced by Pete Densmore. It was filmed using a unique combination of photography and live action footage, and features original music ("Son of a Gun") by Brendan Losch.
The videos were judged based upon a high standard of merit, as determined by a council of past Telly award winners. DADspirations is delighted to have its book trailer recognized by the Telly Awards in 2013.
