D. Scozzari Releases New YA Fantasy Novel

Two twin bears set out on a dangerous quest to rescue their big brother from the evil Ice lady in D. Scozzari's adventure-filled young adult fantasy novel, "The Ninth Region: War with the Ice Lady" (published by Inspiring Voices).

Gloria and Nathan, a pair of twin Kermode bears, are on a quest to rescue their big brother, Nettle, from the heartless Ice Lady who has enslaved many in her castle. Though they should be hibernating for the winter, they run away from their home in Paw County and travel to the Ice Lady's castle.

Joined by a wise and funny oversized frog named Vincent, the bears embark on an adventure that brings them to the Ninth Region and in contact with mysterious creatures. But they soon find out that the Ice Lady has many special friends - like the Fire Prince and the Polar Spirit - who are more than a match for them.

The friends face many challenges, and as they conquer each one, they receive a piece of armor to help them battle the Ice Lady and her minions. But should they fail to get past the creatures that stand guard over the Ice Lady's castle, they risk capture or worse. Can they save their big brother, or will they become prisoners of the Ice Lady too?
