Cyndi Lauper to Pen Memoir; Set for Fall 2012 Release

According to the Associated Press, Broadway veteran Cyndi Lauper is curretly working on writing a  memoir. Simon & Schuster's Atria Books will release the book, which is set for a Fall 2012 release. 

Cyndi Lauper is a singer-songwriter who has released eleven albums and over forty singles. Her hit singles include 'Time After Time,' 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,' and 'True Colors.' She starred as Jenny in THE THREEPENNY OPERA on Broadway.

Her most recent project, Kinky Boots, will have its pre-Broadway world premiere in Chicago this fall.  Directed and choreographed by Tony^® Award-winner Jerry Mitchell, Kinky Boots will play the Bank of America Theatre (18 West Monroe Street, Chicago, IL) in October 2012.
