"Do you believe there are no more good men left?" Author Curtis Jordan cracks the question in his newest book that tackles the seemingly sensitive women's subject of "Your Choice in Men" (published by AuthorHouse). In this book, Jordan discusses how women's choice in men impacts the quality of romantic relationships and lives they lead.
"Your Choice in Men" is an attempt to analyze the complex world of female psyche. The author believes that the perfect recipe for disaster in a relationship is getting emotional and intimate attachments with a partner whom one is not supposed to be with in the first place. Jordan emphasizes the importance of exercising rational choice in letting people into one's life. A poor choice leads to unnecessary emotional burdens that may harden the woman in time since she is always in the defense. This book puts this insight into perspective, encouraging women to be conscious about their choice by learning to say 'no' and instead dedicate their energy into building themselves and making space for the man who is worth it.
"It can be very difficult to bypass the guy that is not meant to be with us because we can't see the right man standing behind them. Our patience doesn't allow us to wait on the man of our dreams because all we see is the man right now," says Jordan. "Decisions matter. Not every man is meant to be in your life long-term and you can't promote the wrong man to husband privileges when he should be on acquaintance rights. Being able to realize the difference is important and necessary."
An enlightening, practical read that provides rich insight on one of the most common dilemmas in finding love, "Your Choice in Men" is an indispensable wake-up call for women to reevaluate their decisions and reclaim their power to make positive pro-self choices.
