Author Teresa L. Arrowood announces the release of her first book titled Standing in the Eye of the Storm. In this captivating debut, she presents to her readers a mind-boggling novel that chronicles how the lives of two individuals, who are both keeping and fraught with a dark past, intertwine and how they attempt to get out of the storm.

This book introduces the readers to Isabella Cameron, a 21-year-old girl who thought she would never find the love she longed for. She dedicates her life to serving others, but throughout this endeavor she carries a dark secret. She considers the nightmare of her past as an assurance that she would never have a 'happily ever after'. Surprisingly while living in a storm that consumed her, she meets a detective who is bent on stealing her heart.

Twenty-seven-year-old Carter Blake, being left to raise his 2-year-old daughter, has been through a massive storm of his own. He understands the position Isabella is in, so he never discloses the darkness of his past. Through his family and friends' support and encouragement, he is reminded of what God had brought him through. He armed himself with his faith in God and stands against the odds of bringing them both out of the storm. Will he succeed on his ordeal and embrace a second chance for a 'happily ever after'?

In Standing in the Eye of the Storm, Arrowood has written an intriguingly absorbing fiction that promises to bring not only entertainment to its readers, but also life lessons worth emulating. Isabella and Carter's story will surely bring hope and inspiration to those who are also fighting against their inner demons and dark pasts.
