California author, Terry E. Hill's new novel, Come Sunday Morning, provides an intimate glimpse into the personal life of one of Americas most influential Pastors, Hezekiah Cleaveland and his lovely wife Samantha. Come Sunday Morning tells the story of Pastor Cleaveland's homosexual affair and the depths to which his wife will sink to preserve her extravagant lifestyle and to gain full control of their multi-million dollar television ministry.
Hezekiah T. Cleaveland is the handsome and charismatic pastor of the mega church New Testament Cathedral in Los Angeles. He is married to Reverend Samantha Cleaveland a beautiful, sensuous, ambitious, and equally charismatic minister. Samantha is the power behind Hezekiah and New Testament Cathedral. She runs the church and their national television ministry from behind the scenes with a firm, and often cruel, iron fist. Together they are building a new 20,000 seat mega church. So, why would his wife arrange his assassination, on a Sunday morning and in the pulpit of the church they built together?
Come Sunday Morning exposes the lavish lifestyle of this power couple, the pastor's homosexual affair and his consequential murder in the church pulpit in front of the entire congregation. Hill's new and dynamic literary offering shares a first-hand account of what goes on behind closed doors in the world of the religious elite.
Hill has been compared to E. Lynn Harris and Eric Jerome Dickey in his writing style and storyline transitions. Scheduled for release in January 2011, Come Sunday Morning is already the talk on the fiction literary scene. Chapter One is available for review online at http://www.terryehill.com.
