Clarke Wallace Pens New Mystery HARVEST

On a trip to France, Clarke Wallace bumped into a nice French woman and ended up having dinner and sharing a kiss on the cheek before she left from his life forever. The idea of meeting people for brief moments in time sparked the idea for "Harvest" (published by iUniverse).

In the mystery- thriller novel, "Harvest," American writer Jake Bauer is given orders by his agent, Alice, to stay in a Paris apartment and not to venture outside until he finishes his latest book. Alice should have known better than to expect Bauer to follow orders. Instead, he stops in London and enjoys an evening of lighthearted debauchery before sobering up aboard a houseboat moored in the Thames. It's then he meets Tessa, a French woman who delights him with her charm, beauty, and wit. In a moment, she's gone. When he finds her, Bauer discovers Tessa is not all she appeared to be, and is suspected of being involved in a murder.

"The reader will learn a lot about the French without necessarily realizing it," says Wallace. "It is set in the present and brings out the feelings of the ups and downs we face in living, loving and getting the most from life."
