RALEIGH, N.C.

When Racquel Evond Simmons was five years old, she wanted her daddy Clarence Dean Simmons to tell her a bedtime story every night. He began to make up stories for her. His first story was about a star that could not shine. After that, Racquel wanted another one. Then she wanted more. Clarence could not rest anymore because these stories have begun to race in his mind, and he could not stop writing. These bedtime stories prompted him to publish "Sweet Dreams" (published by Xlibris).

This book is an amusing and loveable collection of bedtime stories that are packed with fun, excitement and moral values to motivate children. From the story of a star that could not shine to a grumpy old troll, it is bound to keep them glued as their imagination engulfs them.

"With eight different stories and lots of different characters, this book will appeal to young children as it stir their imagination," Simmons said. "Both children and adults can relate to the moral values imparted in this book."

Bundled with colorful, vibrant illustrations and charming narratives, "Sweet Dreams" is an encouraging, uplifting and motivating read bound to captivate both the young ones and the young once.
