Christopher W. Jones, a devoted writer and lifelong fan of Stephen King, has completed his new book "Saint's Haven: The Line": a spine-tingling supernatural thriller that confronts the devastation to a culture caused by the resentment-based racism of the American South in the early 20th century through its gifted yet cursed main character.

Having a passion for reading, Jones began writing "Saint's Haven: The Line" in his early teens. Of his goal in writing, Jones says "Something he (Stephen King) would write: with monsters, and plenty of swearing and plenty of love. I wanted to write human characters. I wanted to write something that would be awesome."

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Christopher W. Jones's adjective tale unsettling tale depicts the racism in a myriad of ways, ranging from the physical characteristics of the ghetto of the town of Saint's Haven that the main character is forced to live in to the insidious demeanor's of the important people in town and their horrified and disgusted responses when it seems that a black boy will be given similar advantages as the white children.

Noah Robinson is not a typical child. He is extremely bright with test scores that are impressive to anyone involved in education. He is also haunted by vivid, scream-inducing nightmares that disturb his entire family's well-being due to the resulting sleep deprivation. In addition to those things, he is also the first and only black child to be enrolled in John Davis Junior High, an all-white school.

Growing up in Saint's Haven, Noah is already aware that the town is anything but a literal interpretation of its gracious and kind name. However, he never could have imagined the extent of the cruelty of his white peers once he is sharing their same educational space. His only friend is kindred spirit, Sarah Montgomery, a misfit in her own way.

In the midst of the uproar of the community at the 'great travesty' that has befallen their town, Noah makes an important discovery: He has powers. Unexplained powers. Uneasily comprehended powers. Useful powers...

Readers who wish to experience this compelling work can purchase "Saint's Haven: The Line" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
