Author Christine Reda shares some ups and downs of her life in her recently published memoir. "Try Being in Our Shoes" (published by Xlibris) is Reda's invitation for readers as they witness a raw account of one person's adventures as she navigates the sea of life.
This is an inspirational and unique story about the seemingly roller-coaster ride of the author's life journey. Reda details some of the most important events of her life, chronicling her growing up years. A few topics she touches upon are the relationships with her siblings and parents; a tragic car accident; her marriage; becoming a mother and grandmother; and the horrific burning of her home.
"Family is very important to help with dealing with life's ups and downs. You need to work through it together and don't give up," Reda says. "If you work hard at working through whatever issues you have in life, one day you will see a change in your life."
Reda imparts her story not only to share her memories and experiences but also to empower readers to rise up and meet life' challenges with purpose to overcome them. She also uses her book to share a real person's story of triumph over tragedies with the help of family and positivity.
