James Platter accesses ancient scriptures of the prophets, picking through the mire of bloody early Christian history which encompasses several Church traditions (Catholic, Gnostic, Orthodox Christian, even Orthodox Jews who appear to rewrite their ancient history according to the Pharisees in Babylon) as shown in his new work of holy scripture entitled 'The Real Scriptures' of God. Obviously, it has been a daunting task to study the history of various portions of the Apocrypha or Antilegomena. Many Christian churches which grew out of their local lineages have had their own enriched-by-experience writings that were a clear testimony to the power of God to overcome evil. The Catholic Church was, at the start, the only one with enough strength and military manpower to call up the many councils that eventually fashioned what Platter knows to be the watered-down, depleted and much-edited Bible books that are known today. They even cursed those who looked at the old manuscripts they had not named as valid prophetic writings of scripture.
Inside the covers of Platter's volume, therefore, are the many "Real Scriptures" gathered from the numerous Christian churches that originally spread the fires of faith throughout the whole world. Church leaders would have called ecumenism into practice even then to unite and standardise the churches, knowing that other Christian churches around the world have held to a tradition and faith in many of those books with some that eventually fell "out of fashion" once certain books were "voted out" for use in Christian churches in the dynamic (and often bloody) quest to define God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the Word of God, the Virgin Mary and Mary Magdalene (one of the truest disciples ever mentioned by Jesus Christ), and with the many Christian churches' implausible fanciful tenets which have been absorbed as holy writ and Church dogma by Christians in the two millennia since Jesus Christ. Ironically, there are now far more Church rules and directives than given by all the prophets who ever lived, so Christians have to go back to basics and even consider the books of Jasher, of Enoch and Adam and Eve again. Also the Prophet Daniel has had his works mutilated by a priestly refusal to put his books together in one place because different parts are recorded in different languages.
So is European Christianity based in the Vatican City right about all its holy scriptures while holding everyone else's church scriptures as false scriptures? Ethiopia, it seems, got most books of scripture right even with their translation into an ancient language! Ethiopia has one of the oldest spiritual organisations that may have started with King Solomon and thrive to this day in a continuous existence. Some families in Ethiopia have the family name of Solomon. This is among Platter's telling arguments to have other churches, their books and traditions, given equal value to Christians in Europe. Variance among churches means only a healthy sense of identity and respect among churches and their leaders. Real scriptures of the many churches are those which pertain to God in deep faith and belief in truthful longstanding accounts by prophets-Platter's advocacy is for these rich traditions of the prophets, priests and kings throughout Christian history to shine back into view and respect instead of the watered down gospels of different denominations today who will only say that we are the best that God has to offer to the world, who sometimes present themselves as the only way to escape from going to Hell. Some are united by a strong priestly tradition, even ordaining their local royalty within the same belief and faith.
