Author Chrishna Bowe offers readers a practical guide to female empowerment in her inspirational new book, "Woman To Woman...We've Been Duped!" (published by iUniverse).

"Women's issues very rarely change," says Bowe. "Same problems, different settings. This book addresses classic women's issues but takes into consideration this era."

According to Bowe, women are inundated with misconceptions and mixed messages about what it takes to be a "real woman." Designed to speak to women of all ages from all walks of life, this book focuses on helping readers achieve and maintain a balanced, fulfilled life.

Today more than ever, it is crucial for women to take control and accept responsibility for their own lives, Bowe asserts. She encourages readers to make an honest evaluation of their choices, which she says will maximize their ability to change for the better.

"Join me," Bowe says, "as we, with God's help, turn the tables and take charge of ourselves, our lives and ultimately our destiny!"
