Chris Monaghan marks his debut in the world of fiction with his fast-paced thriller, "The Collection." In this gripping tour de force, readers will be propelled on a wild ride into the future where an adventure riddled with technological hazards, time travel and international conspiracies awaits.

It is the year 2015 and an attempt to restart a particle accelerator at Geneva has resulted in a major disaster. At the center of the action is Bryce, one of a number of scientists tasked to prevent the already volatile situation from becoming more catastrophic. While conducting repairs, things take a turn for the worse when the team becomes trapped inside a void of accelerated mass. As the group teeters in the brink of death, they realise that the unstable environment is changing their personalities. Ellen, Bryce's past lover, can successfully use "Mind Travel" techniques to move through time and space. The rest of the team soon find themselves in 19th century New Zealand where an extraordinary mission is about to begin.

Bryce and his colleagues must collect five mysterious artifacts from different places across the globe if they want to return to the present and their lives. From a royal tomb in Egypt to the Lion's Gate in Mycenae, the group travel through time and across continents. As their epic mission unfolds, a global conspiracy slowly surfaces and what began as a scavenger hunt quickly becomes a gripping fight for survival.

Riveting, prophetic and replete with thrilling action, "The Collection" will keep readers at The Edge of their seats from the beginning until the unforgettable conclusion.
