Cheryl Oliver Pollock Pens LOVING YOUR DAUGHTER-IN-LAW

Author Cheryl Oliver Pollock turns "monsters-in-laws" into loving mothers-in-law with her new mother-daughter-in-law relationship guide "Loving Your Daughter-in-law: What YOU Can Do to Have a Better Relationship with Your Daughter-in-law" (published by WestBow Press).

"Loving Your Daughter-in-law" is structured chronologically through each stage of a son's life, from birth through childhood, his engagement and marriage. The text offers strategies for handling difficult issues that include how to let go of him, how to appropriately show love and how to have a good relationship with the daughter-in-law's parents.

Pollock also prepares mothers-in-law for the changes and disagreements that might arise between them and their son and daughter-in-law. Her advice covers topics such as how to respect the son and daughter-in-law's boundaries and when to help and when to refrain from helping.

Through her book, Pollock hopes to help foster better relationships between mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law. She reminds her readers that daughters-in-law are not enemies, but merely friends in waiting.
