Author Charles J. Carlucci admits that he has always written for his own satisfaction, but never did anything about it. One day, he decided to write a poem about a special friend named Paula which led to a few others and eventually, it resulted in the release of "The Years I've Done" (published by Xlibris).

Based from personal experience that he wanted to share with readers, this book presents a collection of poems and short stories of the people that have encouraged and inspired Carlucci throughout his life which includes his family, friends and past lovers.

"My poems and short stories will appeal to readers because it will give them the encouragement to find goodness in their lives and though at times it may not be easy, it is a matter of how they deal with it to succeed," Carlucci says.

After reading "The Years I've Done," Carlucci hopes that readers will open their eyes and still look at life in a more positive manner, one that is full of happiness and goodness despite of the negative experiences they may have encountered in the past.
