"Caribbean Girl in America": a memoir and story of hope and redemption. "Caribbean Girl in America" is the creation of published author Carla Richards, a Born-again Christian and spiritual advisor who derives great joy in mentoring young women in their own journeys to Christ. She is a member of Faithful Central Bible Church in Englewood, California.

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Carla Richards's new book is a story of a young Caribbean girl's dream of reuniting with her mother and father. Raised by extended family in a remote part of the island of St. Kitts, her carefree life comes to an abrupt end as she is sent to join her mother in the United States. This is her journey through confusion and darkness into the light of faith in God.
