Camilo Iribarren, a current biology student at CUNY York College, has completed his new book "Conjuring Deception": a gripping and imaginative story formed around a team of magicians that solve crimes involving any type of magic trick of misconduct done to magicians.

Mr. Iribarren says that, "(I have) loved magic tricks since I was a child and got the chance to practice mentalism at the age of 16."

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Camilo Iribarren's intriguing story focuses on a number of crimes committed by magicians and con artists in Seattle. No law enforcer has been able to solve these misdeeds, until FBI agent Simon Shakespeare decided to form a team of magicians to help solve these misconducts. Shakespeare is an expert in close up magic, but he knows he needs help when it comes to other specialties of magic, so he recruits cardist, Ophelia Brownstone, mentalist, Feste Fillmore, stage illusionist, Juliet Gardner and escape artist, Damon MacBeth. The team solves crimes involving any type of magic illusion and impropriety done to magicians. Their unique understanding of each specialty comes in handy to dissect the scene and create certain profiles of the perpetrators.

Readers who wish to experience this mesmerizing work can purchase "Conjuring Deception" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
