Who is God and what evidence is there that what he says is real and true? What are the promises of God? Has God delivered on his promises? In his new book, "Thunder Vision: Study of the Book of Revelation," author Calvin investigates these questions in light of the book of Revelation.

Calvin was inspired to write this book after observing so many modern American Christians misconceive the book of Revelation. According to him, the media and church's focus on doom and gloom have overshadowed the essential message that the Apostle John was trying to get across.

"While trials and tribulation are a fact of life for the Christian, salvation and the promise of salvation are the overwhelming theme John is portraying to us. John is revealing to us a framework that is not hard to understand if we have the right perspective. This framework is given to us in and throughout the Bible and when you look at it through the lens of all time, instead of just the time of the end, we gain perspective when we study history and are honest with ourselves, in turn we will also learn from our mistakes and heed his warning," he says.

"Thunder Vision" was written to guide Christians to find this perspective and ultimately convince them to put their hope in God and his promises. This compelling work is a study of the "Prophetic Scripture" of the Holy Bible. Having a deeper and clear understanding of the book of Revelation is important if one wants to see God's plan clearly.

Beautifully crafted and compelling, "Thunder Vision" serves both as a comprehensive starting ground for first timers studying one of the most controversial books in the Bible and a trove of fresh, groundbreaking insights for scholars and church leaders.
