CT's Amistad Center to Welcome Mystery Writer Attica Locke, 9/26

An Evening of Mystery & History! with Attica Locke is set for September 26, 2013 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM in the Hoffman Auditorium in The Bruyette Athenaeum, University of Saint Joseph Campus, 1678 Asylum Avenue, West Hartford, CT 06117. Ample and free parking available on campus! (5:30 Reception. Program begins Promptly at 6 PM.)

Mystery writer Attica Locke, author of The Cutting Season in conversation with NPR correspondent, Karen Grigsby Bates. This modern day mystery is set on a sprawling antebellum plantation where the past and the present co-exist uneasily.

We encourage you to read the book in advance to ensure lively audience Q&A. A limited number of books will be available for sale and signing at the event. Books are for sale now in the Wadsworth Atheneum's Museum Shop.
