When Christine White learned her father had been accused of committing a triple homicide, she was at a loss. When the jury found him guilty, she was devastated. When she found out he may have been set up, she wanted revenge.
Revenge, hate and forgiveness collide in C.B. Vasconcelos' new thriller, "The Melody of Justice: They Will Make You Feel the Story" (published by Trafford Publishing), which follows Christine down a rabbit hole that can only end in absolute salvation or destruction.
Christine readily accepts her father's word that Mariah is the actual perpetrator of the crimes he has been convicted of as he has conditioned her to hate Mariah while he was incarcerated. But Mariah is smart, strong, funny and lovely - on the surface. This makes it unbelievable for most when Christine's father labels her as the one who is actually responsible for the homicides and deserving of his conviction.
"The Melody of Justice" follows Christine as she struggles to discern fact from fiction, friend from foe and right from wrong. With her father's lust for revenge and supposed innocence constantly burdening her mind, it will take every ounce of her strength to see through the lies and make the right choices - before other lives are ruined forever.
