Chinese business guru Zhao Yanchen wrote Causes of Wealth of People based on his decades of painstaking efforts of studying economics, research, contemplation and practice of entrepreneurship. His objective was to reveal the Eastern wisdom of entrepreneurial law through a book which served as the entrepreneurial bible in today's China. Now, this new English Edition further brings his wisdom to Western entrepreneurs and business people, helping them not only with executing their own entrepreneurial projects but also with understanding the Chinese entrepreneurial mindset and thereby improving international business cooperation.
The general rules of entrepreneurship comprise the main theme of this entire book which lies in the discovery of the "Tao" of Entrepreneurship and how it works. It explores the inherent laws that exist from project selection to operation, and answers the most fundamental questions regarding the gestation, birth, growth and maturity of a new business. Hence, the book lays out a comprehensive theory of entrepreneurship while at the same time serves as a practical guide for the entrepreneur.
First published in China in 2004, this new English edition is the first translation of the book to ever be published. This challenging translation was carried out by Jing Zhao Cesarone and Joseph M. Cesarone, a married couple who are the founding partners of ChinaWise, a Chicago-based business advisory firm that facilitates business and cultural exchange between the U.S. and China.
The book appeals to readers because it offers authentic insights and original theories on entrepreneurship. This is the only Chinese entrepreneurship book written by an authentic Chinese scholar and practitioner which provides direct and raw insights from a 100 percent Chinese perspective. It appeals to a wide range of readers especially Western business people interested in doing business with Chinese entrepreneurs and those interested in learning Eastern wisdom on entrepreneurship .
Timely, comprehensive in theory, and proven to be practical and successful, the lessons revealed in Causes of Wealth of People may be the key to prosperity in this modern day and age. With China's economic growth and its unparalleled contribution to international trade and commerce, this new English Edition will provide Western business people with relevant study material that can help them map out their own business success.
