Severance, Colo.
For 8-year-old Sadie, growing up is about to become more complicated than she could ever imagine; she is about to learn that she's a fairy.
C M Williams tells the story of Sadie's secret life in her new novel, "Sadie: (A Fairy's Tale)" (published by AuthorHouse).
Like most 8-year-olds, Sadie is very adventurous and often finds herself in the midst of an adventure. As her luck would have it, Sadie soon embarks on the biggest adventure of her life - an adventure into another world.
Readers will watch as Sadie journeys into the Otherworld - a land where fairies live - on a quest to discover who she really is. Along the way, Sadie and her grandmother will encounter numerous fairies and elves where danger and humor abound.
An excerpt from "Sadie":
"The queen smiles at Mr. Frog, feeling humbled by such a gentle creature. He has given her a priceless gift in reminding her of how valuable the simplest things in life are and how often they are overlooked. Kneeling in front of Mr. Frog she plucks a single strand of golden hair from her lovely head and wraps it around his neck, whispering, 'A gift for a gift, My sweet little friend. The student became teacher, The teacher a friend.'"

About the Author
C M Williams lives with her husband and one of her daughters in northern Colorado. She always wanted to write a book but was never able to put her stories in writing. It was during a very painful and disappointing time in her life that she began writing to her grandchildren. The journal she was keeping for them became a story and the story became "Sadie," her first novel.
