Butterfield Books Inc. announces that nine of author Linda Hubalek's pioneer historical fiction books are being narrated into audio books. Three professional narrators are reading the books now that will be available at Amazon, Audible, and iTunes this holiday season.

Ann Richardson, an audio book narrator is using her Swedish heritage while narrating the three books in the Swedish immigrant Planting Dreams series, and Prairie Bloomin' from the Butter in the Well series. Ann, whose father emigrated from Sweden, is using a light Swedish accent to portray Charlotta Johnson and Alma Swenson in Hubalek's books.

Pam Dougherty, a professional actress on television, film, and stage is narrating four books for Butterfield Books Inc. A master of different accents, Pamela will use a southern accent for Deborah Pieratt from Kentucky and a Midwest accent for Margaret Kennedy in the Trail of Thread series, and a Swedish accent for Kajsa Runeberg in the Butter in the Well books.

Heather Elizabeth Lynn Farrar is an audio book narrator and author and her voice will portray teenager Maggie Kennedy in Stitch of Courage.

"It's very rewarding to hear my book characters come alive through these audio books. It's like I'm getting to meet these characters from the 1800s in person. They all homesteaded in Kansas and now these women are telling me their life story in person," said author Linda Hubalek.
