Bronville Scott has completed his new book "Superstorm Sandy": a gripping and potent photographic exposition of the most destructive hurricane of 2012 and its catastrophic effects on the Jersey Shore.
Bronville Scott is originally from Jersey City, New Jersey. His family relocated when he was at an early age, moving to Neptune, New Jersey located in Monmouth County at the Jersey Shore. From 1968 until 1971, he served in the United States Army stationed at the Pentagon, Department of Defense, Washington, DC. After completing military service, he moved to California. While living in California, he secured a position as a newspaper reporter, columnist, and critic (reviewing stage plays, etc.). He and his wife have two sons; Anthony and Jason.
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Bronville Scott's enlightening compendium of imagery provides a look at the ruinous power and force of such a brutal storm. For those who may not understand the devastation of this disaster, Scott lays out a detailed series of snapshots to illustrate this historic calamity.
There are residents, tourists, visitors, property owners-who live elsewhere and have rental properties at the shore-as well as many others familiar with the area, who will recognize what has been photographed in this published book. The south shore holds a multitude of memories of just how far-reaching the destruction was for thousands of people at the shore. As a result of the wind and water damage, the cleaning process was very expensive and tedious.
Readers who wish to experience this potent work can purchase"Superstorm Sandy" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
