Julian Gresser's new book, Piloting Through Chaos - The Explorer's Mind, released by Bridge 21 Publications, introduces explorers to the last unchartered frontier: the vast terrain of our own minds. This is a world of infinite variety and subtletyunbound by the laws of physics. Gresser's original work is an account of his own discoveries at the state between mind and physical reality, and a practical handbooka navigation systemfor adventurers who have the zest for exploring and transforming the world around them.

For readers eager to refresh their visions of reality, the author provides a compass and a map, which include five bridges. The first bridge connects youth and age, the ancient world of the classics with the modern day of the Internet, social media, and the worldwide web. The second connects East and West, and is filled with the author's own practical experiences in business negotiations as one of the old Japan "hands." Gresser, who founded a law firm in Japan, has previously written books based on negotiation methods and taught as a visiting professor at Harvard and Peking Universities. The third links the new frontier of brain science, in particular the important discoveries of neuroplasticity, with the mind and consciousness. The fourth pays tribute to women explorers and seeks to provide a platform (a Women's Explorer's Wheel) to support their contributions to science and many other fields. The fifth bridge connects science with the arts in a vision of 21st Century Humanism and a Second Renaissance.

The work contains two important inventions. The first is an "Explorer's Wheel" which introduces the reader to eight portals taking readers into the "wormhole of the psyche" that enables them to "connect everything to everything." The second transforms the relationship between author and reader, because the book learns and morphs in response to its readers' interests, tastes, and passions. A Living Adaptive Multimedia Book (LAMBTM), it is based on a special algorithm that intuits without intruding or compromising a reader's privacy. This enables readers to circumnavigate a world of ideas. Readers can also visit the author's website for ongoing instruction and training, including the free massive open online course (MOOC), "The Fountain of YouthThe FirstVoyage" (See: www.explorerswheel.com)
