Having written poetry for many years, author Brian Gorman started gathering his poems into one soulful collection only after the end of a relationship, followed by his admission to a psychiatric hospital due to a 'breakdown.' From that beginning the book grew and grew until it led to the publication of "BROKEN Words" (published by Xlibris UK) in 2014. A new marketing campaign is set to be launched for this book.

"BROKEN Words" is dedicated to Katrina and those who are in love; those who have been in love; and those who had fallen out of love. Telling a story of a love cherished yet lost, these delightful poems show readers the happiness and the sadness brought about by that little thing called love. Revisiting memory lane, Gorman uses picturesque words to bring readers to the time when he was enjoying his one unforgettable love. He brings them through the highs and lows of falling in and out of love and the pain it inflicts. It is also a journey of healing and moving on from painful endings to start anew.

"I think we live in a time where close, intimate, relationships can be regarded as a 'commodity,' useful until it is no longer useful," Gorman says. He hopes readers will recognize some of the themes within the book, letting them either see some of themselves and a way ahead. It is also for those who stand by and lift up those who are having a difficult time in any kind of ending.

Evocative, at times poignant and yet heartwarming, "BROKEN Words" makes readers see and experience the beauty of love and the pitfalls once it ends.
