BOSTON, Jan. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ Certified Professional Coach, speaker, and workshop leader, Gayle Suzanne, inspires women who have been abused or rejected to embrace life, persevere and love ourselves in her book "It's The Little Things."

With moments of laugh-out-loud storytelling, brutal honesty and practical suggestions, Suzanne shows women how to shift their energy and improve their self-worth

"Do you feel that you just don't measure up? Do you believe you will never be happy? Are you hurting and want to learn skills to help you enjoy your life? If so, then this motivational book is the perfect tool to move forward in a fresh, thought-provoking way," said Suzanne, whose coaching practice focuses on women who have been abused, rejected or divorced.

"During my early years, I was emotionally abused, bullied and rejected on a regular basis. As a young girl, I yearned to be loved, endured the pain of constant rejection, and built a wall of fears that kept me from living a carefree, happy life. I had this nagging feeling that I was damaged and something was wrong with me. I dreamed of a wonderful life but became resolved in thinking that happiness was meant for others, but not for me," said Suzanne, who presents empowerment workshops for women throughout New England.

"As I matured, I was sick and tired of constantly feeling miserable and depressed. After I dusted myself off from my latest rejection, I made a conscious decision to take steps to love myself, trust God and be there for others. I made a commitment that I would be kinder and gentler to myself and I would take small steps to improve my circumstances.Over time, my life began to change. I became more peaceful, content and happy. The little action steps I was taking began to improve my life! I began feeling that I was a worthy, good person and that my life really mattered,"says Suzanne who is known as the "Hope Coach for the Damaged Soul." "Today I have a wonderful life. It is not without its problems, but I have learned how to press through obstacles in a positive way without being so hard on myself."

This book is a compilation of nearly 50 true stories which spread a message of hope and love to those who have been hurt. At times, heartbreakingly sad and other times humorously refreshing, this book is a reminder to pay attention to the little things in life that we might sometimes overlook. We have the choice to look at our lives through a different lens. With commitment and simple action, we can let go of our past disappointments and move forward in a healthy way.
