Stephen King will discuss his newest novel "End of Watch" during a special event on Thursday, June 9 at 6:30 p.m. "An Evening with Stephen King," presented by Books & Co., is set to take place at the historic Victoria Theatre, located at 138 N. Main St.

"End of Watch" is the thrilling conclusion to King's Bill Hodges trilogy. Brady Hartsfield, perpetrator of the Mercedes Massacre (and first introduced in "Mr. Mercedes"), has been in a traumatic brain injury clinic for five years in a vegetative state. But behind the drool and stare, Brady is awake, and in possession of deadly new powers that allow him to wreak unimaginable havoc without ever leaving his hospital room. Retired police detective Bill Hodges, the unlikely hero of "Mr. Mercedes" and "Finders Keepers," now runs an investigation agency with his partner, Holly Gibney, who delivered the blow to Hartsfield's head that put him in the brain injury ward. When Bill and Holly are called to a murder-suicide with ties to the Mercedes Massacre, they find themselves pulled into their most dangerous case yet - one that will put their lives and an entire city at risk. In "End of Watch," Stephen King brings the Hodges trilogy to a sublimely terrifying conclusion, combining the detective fiction of "Mr. Mercedes" and "Finders Keepers" with the supernatural suspense that is his trademark. The result is an unnerving look at human vulnerability and up-all-night entertainment.

Tickets for "An Evening with Stephen King" are limited and available for purchase beginning Wednesday, April 13 at 10 a.m. at the Victoria Theatre or online at my.ticketcenterstage.com. Each ticket guarantees entry to the event, as well as one unsigned hardcover edition of "End of Watch" at the end of the event. As a special bonus, 400 lucky attendees will randomly receive a pre-signed copy of the novel! Seating will be assigned based on the order the tickets are purchased, so fans are encouraged to act quickly!

Ticket sales are final and nonrefundable. Due to capacity limits, each person is allowed to purchase up to four tickets. Additional copies of the unsigned new book along with the two previous books in the series, "Mr. Mercedes" and "Finders Keepers," will also be available for purchase at the event.
