Author and Bible teacher Sherri Burgess will discuss and sign her newest book, "Bronner," on Saturday, February 13 at 2 p.m. at the Huntsville Books-A-Million, located at 1001-7 North Memorial Parkway.
Burgess and her husband Rick Burgess, host of the nationally syndicated Rick and Bubba Show, lost their son, Bronner, in a tragic accident at home. Burgess's "Bronner" leads readers on her journey to understanding the purpose behind pain through this powerful story. Using her rich, awe-inspiring experiences of God's works since her son's passing, Burgess chronicles how her family's faith helped them move forward with profound comfort, assurance and peace.
With a helpful reader's guide located in the back of the book, "Bronner" is an empowering resource for small-group discussion or book clubs. Not only is the book an inspiring account of faith in the midst of tragedy, but it is also a moving call to action and beckoning for Christians to know God like never before. Burgess and her family hope "Bronner" will bring light and reassure to others who are suffering through dark times.
This author event and book signing is free and open to the public. For more information, visit booksamillion.com or call (256) 536-1940.
