Books-A-Million and the BAM Brigade surpassed the donation goal of $1 million for the 3rd Annual Holiday Book and Toy Drive. All Books-A-Million locations participated in the drive for local charities and the campaign has exceeded its goal of $1 million each year it has been held.
The Holiday Book and Toy drive marks another successful campaign for the BAM Brigade, as it continues to support the local communities in which Books-A-Million serves.
"It is important during the holidays to give back to our local communities, and we knew we could count on the BAM Brigade to give their full support to this donation drive," said Scott Kappler, Vice President of Marketing for Books-A-Million. "It is exciting to know that these efforts will help make the holiday season a little brighter for some this year."
This year's donation drive theme was "Grow Your Heart 3 Sizes," referencing the Dr. Seuss Christmas classic, "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." Artwork from the popular story was given to Books-A-Million by the Seuss Estate and Random House to promote the donation drive.
