Outliers Publishing announced the third book in the Outlier Series, Ingredients of Outliers: Women Game Changers is now available for sale on ingredientsofoutliers.com in eBook format. The eBook profiles accomplished women with diverse journeys and backgrounds whose bravery, innovation, charisma and perseverance paved the way for others, both men and women. The eBook comes just before women Women's History Month in March. The publication is also timely due to previous critiques from media outlets like Womensinc.net and Huffingtonpost.com which noted significant gender gaps in Malcolm Gladwell's Outliers: A Story of Success.

While Author Dr. John Shufeldt did not write the newly released publication in response to Gladwell's book, he is excited to highlight the much deserving women, and agrees that in history and even presently, many stories of successful women have yet to be told. "I enjoyed Gladwell's Outliers immensely, and was even inspired to run with the concept to help teach people the traits that are important to true success. There are simply not enough stories about successful women currently published, so after highlighting a myriad of incredible women in Ingredients of Outliers, I decided to focus more in depth on the subject and highlight six women to interview about their professional and personal lives, how they got to where they are today, and what they would do differently if they could give a younger person any advice."

The women in Ingredients of Outliers: Women Game Changers includes Jenny McClendon, PA-C, former star of the WEtv series, Raising Sextuplets and mother of nine who is working full-time as a PA and caring for her family; an Attorney-CPA and 2014 Arizona gubernatorial candidate, Christine Jones; the first woman to be Supreme Court Chief Justice in Iowa, Marsha Ternus; Jane Hamilton, the bestselling and award winning author of A Map of the World and The Book of Ruth, both Oprah's Book Club selections; ophthalmologist, humanitarian, and physician-educator, Mildred M. G. Olivier; and, award winning environmental journalist and author, Sharon Guynup.

Each chapter in the book contains an interview of an exceptional woman, in an informal yet professional style that is intended to mimic a session between and mentor and their mentee. The chapters also contain an action guide from each professional featured, and a resources section that applies to their respective career.

Dr. John Shufeldt explains his passion for mentorship, "My only regret in life is that I didn't have a mentor earlier. There are plenty of mistakes I could've avoided and a relationship with someone more seasoned in their career could've given me insight far beyond my years. The book is intended to act as a surrogate mentor, for someone like me, who could've benefited from someone else's council."

The book is $4.99 at http://www.ingredientsofoutliers.com/shop/ and can be read on any device compatible with the complimentary Kindle eReader application.

In addition to the eBook's full availability, short digital copies of each chapter, profiling each woman are available for purchase. The eBook chapters include an interview from each woman, along with action and resource guides for those aspiring to enter their related career field.
