Curious about the history of old airline playing cards from the '80s, author David T. Straw describes his book as a story in reverse that takes readers back in time, to follow a deck of old airline playing cards from the 1980s. Unknown to the young boy who gets them, they will travel all over the world and touch a great many hands, and be part of a great many stories.

"The timeline is different, as it does not follow a usual chronological order. The figurative language and the characters," says Straw about the uniqueness his book. Ultimately, Straw wants his readers to enjoy the story and smile at a possible connection they can relate to.
