Book Describes Building Stronger Faith Through Community Image Christianity is dependent on how well we fellowship with other people. In his latest inspirational book, “Need for God in Human Society,” Joseph Borowitz emphasizes the need for each person to stay in constant communication with God and the need to reach out to others in a loving way to build the Kingdom of God on earth.

Small prayer groups provide a means by which people get to know each other and develop loving relationships. Great benefits come when belonging to a healthy small prayer group. Only then can individuals be ourselves, achieve true freedom, and attain salvation. In the absence of a loving community, our institutional church becomes a formalistic travesty.

“A group at Blessed Sacrament Church has been meeting for about 20 years for prayer and fellowship and they encouraged me to write this book,” said Borowitz. “They wanted me to show that God is an essential component in each human life and that God actually mediates our relationships and by His Holy Spirit encourages good fellowship and peace in this world of ours.”

In summary, Borowitz has determined that good small prayer groups are vital for the ultimate meaning of human life and Christian faith.
