ORLANDO, Fla.

In "The Eastside of Town," (published by Xlibris) author Bob Williams shares with readers the experience of living in the 60's - an era that he believes is one of the most colorful and eventful times in American history.

"The Eastside of Town" follows the lives of five friends who grew up on the Eastside of Orlando, Florida during the eventful sixties era. It follows their coming of age journey and how they grew apart through the years only to be reunited after the murder of a girl who taught them the importance of passion and compassion. Protagonist, Tommy Smith, convinces his friends they need to find out what happened to Jackie. This would change their lives forever. New York Times bestselling author Maxine Paetro says, " The Eastside of Town is a readers delight. A story with nostalgia, history, lost love, suspense and a touch of American Graffiti."

This nostalgic read was predominantly made to show readers the essence of the sixties and to highlight the many differences between then and now.
