In his new book, "I Made My Choice - Have You?: One Man's Thoughts on Issues in Our National News and Possible Solutions" (published by iUniverse), author Blair Stevens touches on many current events in American politics and culture, offering readers an alternative viewpoint to what can be found in news media and national leadership.

Stevens is an everyman, a typical American, husband, father and business man. With "I Made My Choice - Have You?" he uses this relatable perspective to expound on the most pressing concerns facing Americans today: parenting, work, immigration, teen pregnancy, abortion, drug abuse, teen suicide, education and racism. In a down-to-earth style, "I Made My Choice - Have You?" challenges readers to look at current events through a different lens.

Stevens is humble about his book, which is based on experience - not research. "It is merely one man's viewpoint which runs a bit contrary to conventional wisdom and ideas," he says.

However, he is enthusiastic about the potential his book has to inspire change in readers. "Wouldn't it be cool if something I wrote influenced or even saved a life?" he asks.
