According to planetprinceton.com author John Grisham will speak at Princeton University in Richardson Auditorium on October 25. The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Princeton University Library.
The event at Princeton is titled, "Appearing At The Scene Of The Crime, John Grisham Visits Princeton." This references his popular novel "Camino Island," which opens with a theft scene at Princeton's Firestone Library where F. Scott Fitzgerald papers are stolen.
Maria DiBattista, a professor of English at the school, will moderate the event. Grisham is set to speak about the "art of writing" and his books with a question-and-answer portion at the end. There will be pre-signed copies of "Camino Island" and "The Rooster Bar" available, and Grisham will not be signing any books at the event.
Grisham is best known for his legal thrillers, and has written over three dozen books. He graduated Mississippi State University and later attended University of Mississippi School of Law. His first novel, "A Time To Kill," was published in 1989. In 1993 his bestseller "The Firm" was published, which sold over seven million copies and has a screen adaptation starring Tom Cruise.
The event is currently sold out, but information about tickets can be found here!
