KILKIVAN, Australia
As a young Christian, author Beryl J. Spencer believed God would take away all of her troubles. She later realized that while he would always provide her with support, it would be up to her to make positive changes in her life.
Spencer's new book "And There Came a Lion" (published by WestBow Press) shares her views on the writings of Saint Paul to inspire readers to practice God's words in their everyday lives, as Paul did, and lead a more fulfilling life.
"And There Came a Lion" candidly discusses topics such as faith, love and patience and how they support when all other options seem to be exhausted. Spencer introduces the reader to modern tactics of strategic warfare to defeat the enemy.
Spencer relays her own stories of crisis to provide examples of how God can be a lifeline of support when all other options seem to be exhausted. Her strategies guide readers as they learn to dress in the armor of God referenced in Ephesians, and open themselves to God's words.
