It has been ascertained that like attracts like. With this, Jeffry C. Beers pens a compelling and inspiring story by masterfully employing two major influences of life: the law of attraction and faith in God. Based on a true story, The Lost Season reveals personal growth through confronting life's trials and, without regrets, accepts its results and verdicts.

The universe is a vast field of energy and everything inside it is interrelated. By conditioning one's mind with an ultimate goal, the stars align and the whole universe conspires to bring forward what is desired. This method, known as the law of attraction, allows one to be in command of the factors and circumstances to dovetail perfectly what a person aspires, be it health, money, success or love. Dwelling on the negatives, however, will only attract frustration, confusion, and harm.

In this book, Jarred, a former football coach, is faced with a career change. After meeting Isha, a bartender and philosopher of life, he begins to question everything as he learns to search for the so-called authentic self Isha is so eagerly talking about. The more he relays his beliefs, the more Jarred realizes the weight of his words on spirituality, how logical and true they are. If only he knew about this before he acted impulsively only to regret it later in life. Now that his team is about to grab another chance to make it for the state tournament, is it too late for a cynic like him to heed Isha's advice and guidance?

Letting go of the stern egoistic beliefs developed over a lifetime of struggle may be the first step towards acceptance of a rather new approach of thinking. A gripping novel teeming with insights, The Lost Season seeks to further understand the mysteries and complexities of life through self-evaluation and introspection.
