Book one is the first in a series of books and each subsequent book builds on the previous knowledge base and the learner progresses through the system in a logical and sequential manner.

About the Author
Barbara Thomas is a trained teacher having taught in both primary and secondary schools for many years. She has qualifications and specialized in music for three years at Teachers College in Dunedin. She left teaching and worked in early childhood, gaining qualifications in this. From there, she trained as a reading recovery teacher and worked for eight years in the primary sector. Thomas is now a full time music teacher teaching singing, keyboard, piano, ukulele, guitar, bass guitar and classical piano. She is also the author of seven other books regarding instrument learning.
