Barbara Roose Cramer Pens BROKEN SOULS

Barbara Roose Cramer once met a survivor of child abuse. Finding the survivor's story as incredible, Cramer decides to write her story in her latest book "Broken Souls" (published by Trafford Publishing), which is a horrific story but with a triumphant ending.

Set in fictional Dawson, Colorado, Cramer pens about an adoption gone wrong, of bad cops, a system that needs to change and the innocence of childhood. The story follows four innocent children who lost their biological mother, lived in foster care, were adopted and returned to an orphanage. The adoptive parents were abusive; the children were beaten, fed forcibly and brainwashed, with one of them being murdered. These children turned into runaways, drug and alcohol addicts. One of the children survives due to a detective and private investigator's love and dedication to the cause.

"I don't think there is another book like this, where four sisters are adopted by the wrong family, for all the wrong reasons, and one lived and decided to tell her story," Cramer tells.

Seventy-three-year-old Barbara Roose Cramer is a wife, mother of three, grandmother of seven and a great grandmother to one. She is a retired bookkeeper with the local school system, a quilter, a motivational speaker and writer. She uses a wheelchair due to polio as a child; she is a paralympian gold medalist and she and her husband Bill are very involved in the disability community.
