Sandy inherited a lot from her mother - including her good looks and manipulative ways. Now all she needs is a man willing to give her what she wants, and she has found just the guy.
Author Barbara Ashton introduces readers to the malicious Sandy in her new novel, "Miska Valley" (published by Balboa Press AU), in which Sandy attempts to manipulate and take from Andrew, a young man with a giving heart.
Andrew is immediately taken with Sandy; she's beautiful and on the surface, perfect. Conversely, Sandy is interested in Andrew for other reasons, chiefly his money and affection toward her. Fortunately for her, that's all she needs. Unfortunately for Andrew, she's not what he needs.
Throughout "Miska Valley," readers watch as Sandy slowly convinces Andrew to give her the things she wants: an expensive car, a house they can't afford and lodging for her mother. To make matters worse, Andrew is blind to the direction his life is hurtling in. But unbeknownst to Andrew or Sandy, one of his family members has taken notice of Sandy's manipulation - and they intend to stop her.
