As a practicing Buddhist, love and compassion are words that Ama Vitam lives by despite the difficult situations she has endured.

In her new memoir, "By the Way, I Love You" Vitam shares a series of stories that detail her escape from a past abusive life and the complete transformation of her soul.

"This is a story about the rebirth of myself as deeply spiritual person," Vitam said. "The purpose of this book is simply to share my journey with all those who want to change their lives, but just don't know where to start."

By believing in her Higher Power, Vitam has let go of the negative experiences intertwined in her life and learned to understand and develop her intuition.

Vitam has experienced many forms of teachings through her journeys to ancient Tibetan monasteries, the Himalayas and the Annapurna mountain rages in Nepal and healing retreats in Australia's Burleigh Heads.

"By the Way, I Love You" provides an inspirational, personal story while addressing hot button issues such as domestic violence, spirituality, freedom and love.
