About the Author
Ava Cheatem, a former childcare provider, has been involved in early childhood development for years. She has owned and operated her own daycare center, has been a food and nutrition specialist for the public school system and has been a children's music instructor. It is from these experiences that she gained her passion for children and writing about things that shape and affect their lives. She was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, and still resides there with her husband and blended family of nine children. This is her first children's book.
