Cathy Thomas and Leslie Evelo felt it themselves - the overwhelming stress and pain of a world in upheaval. Their clients were feeling it, too, so Thomas and Evelo began to look outside the world of traditional talk therapy for tools to speed up the healing process. They decided to share these healing tools with others, and the result is their newly published book, "Spiritual Prescriptions for Turbulent Times: 7 Paths to Lead You Quickly from Inner Turmoil to Inner Peace" (published by Balboa Press).

Thomas and Evelo are psychotherapists with over 50 years' combined experience. Their practical new guidebook is a collection of alternative and non-traditional healing methods to help readers find peace and fulfillment in the midst of chaos. They have chosen strategies that are effective and fast-acting, providing immediate help to anyone suffering emotionally.

Praise for "Spiritual Prescriptions for Turbulent Times":

"'Spiritual Prescriptions for Turbulent Times' is a wise and practical how-to guide for transforming your energy and raising your personal vibration. It offers an approach to healing yourself that is the basis for healing the world." - Marci Shimoff, bestselling author, "Happy for No Reason," "Love for No Reason," "Chicken Soup for the Woman's Soul"

"'Spiritual Prescriptions for Turbulent Times' reminds us all that we are here for a reason and we all play a part in transforming our world from chaos to peace." - Janet Bray Attwood, New York Times bestselling co-author, "The Passion Test"

"This book is a collection of the best healing methods that we know of, those that will help people in distress to feel better quickly," the authors write.
