Romance novel author, Vivian Kline, is now conducting a series of speaking engagements to share not only her story in her latest novel, but to also discuss the processes of writing a memoir.

Her latest book, about the letters she wrote to an older man at Columbia, who was eighty miles away at the time, was her first real memoir about her real life love story. She was a nineteen year old sophomore, while he was a twenty six year old PhD student at Columbia University.

In the book, Vivian recalls her life in the 1940's at Vassar when it was still an all girl's college and what it was like to live in a world at war.

Through the bundles of letters that Vivian saved that documents her love story between her and Danny during her time at Vassar, she is now able to reminisce about her days as a young woman in love.

Her talks will discuss the importance of writing and remembering memories as every person has a story to tell, and to be passed down to the next generation.

"You make me think that there is a story of how my grandparents came to this country and I will try writing about that for my grandkids to read," said an enthusiastic participant at one of her speaking engagements.

For those who are interested in reading Vivian's book, it is now available on Amazon and on Kindle.
