Twelve percent of women will develop invasive breast cancer, according to reports. Anne Anderson was one of the women to contract the condition. As Anderson underwent multiple surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation, she also contended with her parents' medical struggles. Her father suffered from Alzheimer's disease while her mother's health quickly deteriorated. Now, the cancer survivor shares the significance of her faith in God and her determination to keep doing her regular activities while facing medical upheaval in "My Journey with Infiltrating Ductile Carcinoma (Breast Cancer)."

"My Journey with Infiltrating Ductile Carcinoma (Breast Cancer)" chronicles Anderson's journey to overcoming breast cancer. With her memoir, Anderson shares the complexities in conquering cancer, while also demonstrating an inspiring and fighting spirit. Additionally, she highlights the significance of a strong will, care from her Mom and Dad, and faith in God.

"Having an outlet to actually convey how she felt by way of writing and belief in God is paramount to overcoming medical complications," Anderson said. "My battle with cancer was physically, mentally and emotionally debilitating, and on top of that, I was concerned with my parents' needs. I would not be alive today without my family and my belief in my Savior. Their importance is reflected in "My Journey with Infiltrating Ductile Carcinoma" and I hope my story inspires others in similar situations."
