Author Sasha Cervantes Aims to Raise Awareness of Animal Cruelty in CONSEQUENCES

One day, author Sasha Cervantes happened to see an HBO exposé on farm animals, which compelled her to try to do something to stop the killing of animals for food. She then asked herself, "What can I do or say to influence people?" After a period of deep thought and prayer, the answer came: write the new novel"Consequences" (published by AuthorHouse).

In "Consequences," protagonist LesLee Russell sees slaughterhouse footage on television and it profoundly affects her life, much to the chagrin of family and friends. But that is the least of their problems, for a great mystery is unfolding as animals everywhere begin to disappear at an alarming rate, until every animal on the face of the Earth is gone. Where did they go? Who took them? Why, and for how long? But the most crucial question is, will they return?
