Author Sandra Steiner takes readers through a whirlwind of struggle, loss and sacrifice in love and relationships in her new book, "Cherish the Past" (published by Trafford Publishing). This first book in the new Spring Island trilogy borrows from Steiner's life experiences to realistically portray the loss of a child and of love.
When the protagonist, Angie, loses her child, her husband leaves shortly thereafter. Angie could easily give up, but instead finds strength and hope on Spring Island, where she lives her life to its fullest.
"Cherish the Past" has been selected for inclusion in the Trafford Publishing Gold Seal program, which recognizes excellence in writing and overall potential.
Praise for "Cherish the Past":
"At less than 150 pages, this is a quick read. Yet even within this smaller framework, Steiner conveys a positive character who recognizes the strengths she's gained from her past. ... Above all, this is an inspiring little book, with great rewards."
-Carol Davala, The US Review of Books
